Junior Level 1

Diving into the magical world of numbers

Most children who join this level are 5 years old and are starting their mathematical journey.

Your child will master:

Counting and writing numbers from 1 to 99 with confidence

Understanding which numbers are bigger or smaller (like knowing 83 is greater than 38)

Using the Abacus to visualise numbers

Learning the theory of the Abacus—understanding how it works and mastering correct finger movements

Learning multiplication tables up to 9 (building the foundation for complex multiplication sums like 83 × 7 = 581, which your child will master in Foundation Level 3)

Great for: Kids building strong number sense, gaining confidence with counting, and clearly understanding the difference between numbers like 17 and 71.

Junior Level 2

Discovering the magical tool: Abacus

Children aged 5-7 with basic numeracy skills can join this level directly and skip Junior Level 1.

Your child will master:

Proper finger movements on the Abacus

Solving simple addition and subtraction sums without carry over or borrowing
(e.g., 35 + 12 + 42 = 89 or 63 + 25 – 41 = 47)

Building confidence with calculations

Note: We keep it simple: no carry over or borrowing over numbers yet, so your child builds strong fundamentals without frustration.

Junior Level 4

Your child starts thinking like a mathematician

Your child will master:

All subtraction concepts, including borrowing on the Abacus (e.g., 72 - 37 + 51 = 86 or 315 + 51 - 37 = 329)

Learning multiplication tables up to 9 (building the foundation for complex multiplication like 83 × 7 = 581, which your child will master in Foundation Level 3)

Junior Level 3

When your child is ready for the next step

Your child will master:

All addition concepts, including carry over problems on the Abacus
(e.g., 25 + 36 + 51 = 112 or 136 + 473 + 282 = 891)

Feeling confident handling more advanced math

Foundation Level 1

Entry level for children aged 7 and above

Your child will master:

Understanding how the Abacus works and using correct finger movements

Single- and double-digit addition and subtraction on the Abacus

Starting with simple problems like 25 + 32 – 15

Progressing to complex calculations with carry over and borrowing like 136 + 473 + 282 and 615 + 51 - 387 on the Abacus

Learning multiplication tables up to 9 (building the foundation for complex multiplication sums like 83 × 7 = 581, which your child will master in Foundation Level 3)

Note: At this level, your child will not be able to solve sums without the Abacus. This is where we focus on getting the basics right and setting a strong foundation. Everything your child does is on the Abacus using proper finger movements. They will only start solving sums without the Abacus in Foundation Level 2.

This is where math really clicks for most children!

Foundation Level 2

This is where most parents see the real transformation

Your child will master:

On the Abacus: Three-digit calculations like 143 + 278 + 639

Mental Math (without the Abacus): This is where your child starts to solve sums without the Abacus!

○ Single-digit sums up to 10 rows (example: 6 + 3 – 8 + 5 – 3 + 4 + 2 – 5 + 7 – 9 = 2)
○ Introduction to double-digit sums mentally (without carrying) across 3 rows (example: 52 + 35 – 21 = 66)

What You'll Notice at Home: Your child's concentration improves dramatically! You'll see them focusing better on homework, sitting still longer, and paying attention more in school. Most children become faster in addition and subtraction than an average parent by the end of this level.

Foundation Level 4

Your child develops truly advanced abilities

Your child will master:

On the Abacus: Division, three-digit ÷ one-digit (e.g., 315 ÷ 5 = 63)

Mental Math:

○ Multiplication (e.g., 68 × 7 = 476 in about 3 seconds)
○ Long addition and subtraction chains (e.g., 29 + 76 + 59 – 82 + 73 – 42 = 113)

What You'll Notice at Home: By now, your friends and family will be asking, "How does your child do that?!" Your child's overall academic performance and confidence would have transformed completely.

Foundation Level 3

Prepare to be impressed by your child’s abilities

Your child will master:

On the Abacus: Two-digit multiplication like 71 × 6 or 63 × 7

Mental Math Superpowers: Complex problems like 63 + 72 + 59 + 48 - all in their head!

Long chains of numbers: 6 + 3 - 8 + 5 - 3 + 4 + 2 - 5 + 7 - 9 (10-12 numbers without any tools!)

What You'll Notice at Home: This is the breakthrough level! Your child's school grades in math improve noticeably. Even their English reading and writing get better because of the significant boost in concentration + memory. Teachers and relatives will be amazed!

Advanced Level 1

Your child develops truly advanced abilities

Your child will master:

Decimal addition and subtraction on the Abacus (e.g., 25.36 + 14.62 – 9.87 = 30.11)

Three-digit addition and subtraction (e.g., 653 + 873 – 486 = 1,040)

Multiplication up to 999 on the Abacus (e.g., 984 × 7 = 6,888)

Mental multiplication and division (e.g., 79 × 8 = 632, 864 ÷ 6 = 144)

Long mental calculation chains

What You'll Notice at Home: Your child starts handling larger sums with ease. You'll see them solving school math much faster and with more confidence.

Advanced Level 2

Your child develops truly advanced abilities

Your child will master:

Three-digit multiplication mentally (e.g., 937 × 6 = 5,622)

Decimal calculations mentally (e.g., 2.37 + 6.42 – 1.86 = 6.93)

Four-digit ÷ one-digit division (e.g., 1984 ÷ 8 = 248)

Multi-step addition and subtraction mentally (up to 7 rows) (e.g., 14 + 29 – 36 + 42 – 25 + 18 + 31 = 73)

Basic BEDMAS operations mentally (Brackets, Exponentials, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction) (e.g., (296 ÷ 8) × 4 – 97 + 31 = 82)

What You'll Notice at Home: Your child's focus and memory sharpens. They start doing their school homework and assignments much quicker, and that’s not only math but also all other subjects, due to improved concentration.

Advanced Level 4
